Check for Physical Interference
Check if the fan is making noise due to collisions between the blades and cables or foam packaging materials. Examine the following examples of what to look for:

Ensure that all packaging materials have been properly removed and that cables are secured away from the fan blades.
Apply Lubricant to the Fan
If you're operating the device in a cold environment, try applying lubricant to the fan bearings.
Carefully remove the fan label to access the bearings:
Apply a small amount of lubricant to the bearings:
Note: Only use lubricants specifically designed for electronic components.
Reduce Fan Speed
You can slow down the fan by adding a resistor to reduce its speed. Cut the red wire of the fan and add a 10 ohm resistor. Refer to the image for details:

Warning: Reducing fan speed may affect cooling performance. Monitor device temperature to ensure it doesn't overheat.
Replace with a Quieter Fan
If noise remains an issue, you may replace the original fan with a quieter model. When selecting a replacement, ensure it matches the specifications of the original fan (40mm form factor, 5V operation, compatible mounting holes).
